Repairing a Chip in a Windshield
My husband discovered a chip in my windshield, and since the car is 12 years old and on it's last legs, I decided to repair it the best I could instead of replacing it. After 3 months it's still holding strong!

Innovative Way to Attach an Undermount Sink
@4:33 😂😂😂😂
I thought the epoxy method was as stupid as putting a mattress on top of your car and sticking your arm outside to hold it.
Grateful you chose the same van we did!!! You have a natural and pleasant voice for narration. Thank you for making this video.
Just use a heat gun.
Foam liner may need to be replaced for uptimal adhesions.
Such a simple fix, but it worked. Thank you very much.
Same washer. Our issue is our drain goes up 10ft into the ceiling to dump into the blackwater line, and our check valve got stuck open which means God knows what found its way back into the washer tub. I'm looking at getting a small pump for the outside to help deal with this difference in height that I don't think the little plastic pump is built for.
As a 40 year professional painter,ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS,use a high quality primer for any woodwork, counter, cabinet, floor, ceramic project and SAND,SAND,SAND prior to applying your primer.I'm really pissed off these kits don't recommended this,as your paint project will peel off in weeks or scratch with a fingernail without a good sanding and primer...and TEST,TEST,TEST before starting your project...ENJOY!
My kind of sweet talking handy woman.😉
How long of a job is that?
That hurts I have had it happen! Since this was 4 years ago, how have they held up?
Very entertaining!
I did this and it worked. Lady, you rock.
How did you become so handy it’s very rare to see a lady do something you would think a man should do. Girl power at its best 😊thank you for sharing this video with us here on UA-cam
You rock girl.. bravo all it was just have confidence taking things apart and repair yourself. Save a Service call over 300
The wire is a ground to create a bond between the ground and the pipe at the street, to the pipe passing the preassure reducing valve.
Overall very well done, but one (constructive) comment: As you connected the wiring on the new ballast, you connected the black and white (power) wires before you connected the yellows on the other end of the fixture. You did have the power off, so *technically,* this shouldn't be an issue, but any good electrician will tell you...always connect everything else first BEFORE you connect the power. You may not have known which are the power wires vs. the others, but the black and white wires are the ones that carry the electrical power from your circuit breaker. It does appear that the incoming "hot" power wires in your case were red instead of black, and that may not be uncommon, but is not normal practice. Usually the "hot" wire for an AC circuit is black. One more note: It is always a good idea, before taking wiring apart like that, to use a Non-Contact Voltage Tester (a short wand that detects if voltage is present) to check the incoming power wires to make certain they are turned off. This is a safety item that, again, may not be required when you KNOW which circuit breaker controls your light fixture, but I always use one just in case. That way I know I'm safe.
I absolutely love you for being so genuine, you inspire me!❤
Had no idea about the warranty, thank you!! They are shipping the part for free now!
Thank you so helpful ❤
I wish you could slow it down on the taking the old one out...what part gets loosened ? what tool did you use ? i need a step by step of how to take the old one off... and wear does the water shut off ? is it those handle thingys...and which way do i turn to shut off the water ... left loosy or righty tighty ?
Thank you! I usually pay to have movers do this but trying to save money and you made it look easy!
Well done, ladies! Thanks for showing the underside of the crease before repair, as well!

Thank you.
Thank you for this video. We followed your directions and fixed the same problem in our Whirlpool fridge. Save us not having to call in a professional!
This may sound crazy but I have the same amana washer with the same issue, I have replaced some parts 6 months ago like suspension rods and such I was literally just trying to troubleshoot ran across your videos I am impressed that there are women out there they fix stuff themselves like me!!! I actually went ahead and bought a new washer and dryer it’s the exact model as yours cross your fingers it lasts as long as our AMANA’s😂
Just did this on my niece's car! Two chicks, boiling hot water & a pry bar. Thank you! Your video totally inspired us to give it a try before paying $300.00 to a dent removal guy! You are awesome ❤❤❤
Great Video.
Thanks for watching!
Family effort, good job.
Awesome thanks so much
Muchas gracias campeón did you know🤗
How did the PL500 Landscape construction adhesive work out for you?
They are still attached several years later, so it went well!
This video was amazing and helpful! Thank you
Girl Power 💪🏽
Cleaned my kenmore drain out just like you did and had my wife pour several cups of very hot water down that little drain hole while i watched from the back for good flow into the drain pan.....all appeared clean and clear...3 weeks later....2 inches of ice in the bottom.....im very frustrated!!!!
Does your fridge/freezer seem warmer than it should be? I'm wondering if your coils are freezing over and then thawing, causing a puddle to form at the bottom of the freezer. If so, this could mean that you have a coolant leak.
Both fridge and freezer are very, very cold....0° freezer and 30° fridge.....the drain hole is once again frozen solid with ice.......do you know if the freezer drain is supposed to be a straight, smooth conduit to the drain tube underneath.......?......the drain on my freezer is not straight but is offset with a little lip inside which obviously collects water and freezes and starts the buildup of ice.....I'm thinking about a copper wire attached to the heater element and running it down the drain hole to keep it open......any thoughts???.....thx!
I think the video should have started off by mentioning this project is only necessary if your PRV is broken. For most people, if the pressure is too low or high, you simply need to adjust the PRV by turning the screw to the right place.
I do get to that around the seventh minute, but you have a good point: it might have been better if I had said that earlier.
Heck yeah, just saved my outta town friend a heart attack, he got rear ended while visiting and we popped it out with a buff and g2g
Good job I learned something today I was working on the same thing this very moment
Are you related to ChrisFix?!??! 😱
LOL - no, but also not the first time I've been asked that question. It would be fun to meet him sometime.
@@ChickFixUSA Lol I seriously thought you were!
You are one cool lady! 👍
How many spray cans did it take to do this project? I’m looking to do the same thing this weekend!
It's been a while, but it was probably 3 or 4
Thanks
Great video. Liked the soundtrack too. I’m not sure I’m clever enough to do all that you did so might hire a pro for things involving electrical and gas. But I totally admire you for your DIY skills. Keep on rocking with your caulking!!
Electrical can definitely be tricky. I feel more comfortable with it in situations like this, where it's just a matter a switching out a simple part.
Easy Peasy! Thanks for your video.
She is fine 😍😍😍😍

Why?
